INTRODUCTION

Women Empowerment of Pakistan (WEP) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization registered under Pakistan’s Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance 1961. WEP aims to promote attitudinal change and increase access to opportunities for women, girls, and children. Their strategy includes enhancing knowledge, changing attitudes, and promoting best practices through a rights-based approach. WEP’s initiatives include community development, disaster relief, and an ICTRCs program focused on improving information technology and learning for disadvantaged youth and adults. WEP has expertise in both formal and non-formal education, as well as school health promotion, community/reproductive health, and human rights education.
