Women Empowerment of Pakistan (WEP) is a pro-woman, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization. Registered under Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance 1961.

WEP determined for attitudinal change and increased access to the opportunities for women, girls and children. To achieve our vision, we work to ensure WEP has practical tools for accomplishing those visionary ends. We do this work by organizing convening, engaging, mobilizing and supporting the target community, to ensure we all have the means to make our world an amazing place.

THE ORGANIZATION HISTORY:

WEP is a women action based organization working in Pakistan with the aim to support community development to build a non-discriminative society with a safe place for children. WEP team members and volunteers have been working in the disaster affected areas of Pakistan. In the emergency phase we worked closely with local partner organizations to provide supplies and services. ICTRCs Program of WEP is an initiative that focuses on improving information technology and learning for disadvantaged youth and adults. WEP has a vast experience of working in education sector, has expertise in both formal and non-formal education. School health promotion, community / reproductive health and human right education are other key areas for the entire inspiration and expertise.
